IKEA significantly cuts prices on hundreds of items to enhance affordability.

IKEA is reinforcing its commitment to affordability in home furnishings by lowering prices on various products while maintaining quality, design, and sustainability. The initiative aims to make everyday essentials more accessible, starting with significant price reductions across Europe beginning September 1. Key products affected include the KALLAX storage solutions and POÄNG armchair, with discounts of 15% to 25%.

In specific markets:

  • Germany: Over 1,500 products will see an average price drop of 20%.

  • Italy: Average price reductions will be around 22%, with some products like KALLAX seeing up to 29% off.

To assist with affordability in North America and Asia amid inflation, Ingka Group will invest EUR 70 million. Overall, this commitment builds on a previous investment in FY24 that improved affordability and increased customer traffic.
