Travel Marquette Launches Junior Explorer Program
MARQUETTE, Mich. – Travel Marquette is encouraging children to explore the great outdoors with its Junior Explorer Program, which has welcomed a new participant, Forsyth Forward. This addition offers an exciting new location at Tourist Park in Gwinn.
There are seven locations to explore, each adhering to the principles of Leave No Trace. Kids can earn a “Junior Explorer” patch by checking in at three locations, while completing all seven check-ins garners an insulated adventure backpack.
Alan Cook, Executive Director of Forsyth Forward, encourages families to embrace the outdoors during the summer: “Away from the screens, get outside and explore some of these wonderful places that we have right here in Marquette County. It’s a fantastic way to spend time with your children.”
The Junior Explorer pass is available until September 7, and participants can begin their journey at Travel Marquette’s office on Front Street in Marquette.
