The FDA has announced a recall for Zen Principle’s Moringa Leaf Powder Capsules due to potential contamination with Salmonella. Consumers are advised to stop using the product immediately and dispose of it, without the need to return it for a refund.
Salmonella can cause gastrointestinal issues such as fever, diarrhea (occasionally bloody), nausea, vomiting, headache, chills, and abdominal pain. Symptoms typically appear within 8 to 72 hours after exposure, with healthy individuals recovering within a week. However, severe complications can arise, including infections that affect the bloodstream.
The recalled capsules were sold primarily online, including on Amazon, from December 2025 to July 2026. They come in bottles containing 180 capsules (Lot A6FF4, Best By 11/2028).
