A new version of the Nike Shox has recently been unveiled, featuring the Shox Z silhouette. This shoe made its debut on the podium thanks to US Open Women’s champion Aryna Sabalenka. The Shox Z presents a sleeker and more refined design compared to the R4 version, incorporating a lower and more flexible upper alongside the signature Shox cushioning tech at the heel.
Nike has also introduced multiple colorways for the Shox Z, including options like black and red, sail, grey, volt, brown, and burgundy. Carlos Escobar, the lead designer, emphasized the intention behind the design: to create a look suitable for various occasions, from casual outings to more elegant events. The goal was to ensure the silhouette is cool, relaxed, and vibrant without appearing overly sporty.
The Nike Shox Z is currently available on Nike.com in China, with a global launch expected in the upcoming season.
