NBI considers issuing lookout notice against pet crematorium owners; two suspects detained.

Two individuals with vital information about a pet crematorium linked to the dumping of animal carcasses in Bulacan have surrendered, according to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI). The NBI is preparing criminal charges based on complaints from the owners of six pets whose remains were found and plans to request that the owners of the Bacoor-based crematorium, Ahjay Paws Aftercare, be placed on an immigration watch list.

NBI Director Melvin Matibag stated they have enough evidence for charges related to at least six pets out of an initial 25 discovered. Investigations revealed that the crematorium had inadequate facilities for over a year, leading to the situation. The NBI is collaborating with local authorities to identify where the remains were dumped.
