Founded in 2016 and based in Taipei, J&V Energy has transformed from a solar energy developer into a comprehensive energy and infrastructure group. Their expertise extends to areas such as renewable energy, green electricity trading, battery energy storage, and circular economy solutions.
The company’s rapid growth is attributed to its innovative approach, leveraging technology, investment, and strategic partnerships across various energy sectors. Notably, J&V Energy developed Taiwan’s largest fishery-solar project with a capacity of 128 MW, established Greenet, the leading private green electricity trading platform in Taiwan, and has made Recharge Power a major player in energy storage, boasting cumulative deployments of 412 MW/1,055 MWh.
J&V Energy has expanded its footprint across Taiwan, Japan, Australia, the Philippines, and other Asian markets. In 2025, the firm reported a 96.9% increase in consolidated revenue and grew its workforce to 546 employees. Their solar assets generated around 250 million kWh of renewable electricity, with Greenet providing approximately 420 million kWh of green electricity to businesses.
In 2026, J&V Energy enhanced its renewable energy capacity by acquiring 42 solar plants totaling 187 MW, projecting an annual generation of 270 million kWh and raising the overall solar generation potential to 520 million kWh.
