Bus routes and timetable adjustments will be discussed in a public meeting after recent changes caused “unnecessary problems.” Bus Users Guernsey has invited the public, bus operator Stagecoach, and representatives from the Environment & Infrastructure to the meeting on Saturday at St Martin’s Community Centre at 3:00 PM BST.
A month has passed since Guernsey’s bus routes and schedules were altered, and three weeks since Stagecoach promised to resolve existing issues by the end of September. Concerns persist, with the organization noting that public confidence in the service has been undermined.
Peter Le Vassuer from the Guernsey buses committee emphasized the importance of community feedback to improve services and attract more passengers. While some progress has been made, further improvements are still needed to restore service quality.
The meeting offers an opportunity for users to voice their experiences and concerns.
