Hundreds of gamers, cosplayers, and pop culture fans are expected to gather on Saturday for LOOPHI-CON, a convention focused on mental health awareness and community connection. This event honors Isaiah Jones, a local gamer who tragically lost his life after struggling with depression.
What to Expect:
- Gaming tournaments and open play
- Cosplay contest
- Vendor booths
- Food truck court
- Family fun zone with bounce houses
The convention aims to create a supportive environment for attendees and encourage visits to local businesses. Organizers expect 600 to 800 attendees this year, a significant increase from last year’s event.
For additional updates, you can visit the LOOPHI-CON Facebook event page or the Heart of Rushville Facebook page.
“We’re building something special here,” said Aaron Balistrire from Heart of Rushville. “Isaiah would be proud to see how this community has come together in his memory.”
