Angel Reese has emerged as a standout player for the Atlanta Dream during their impressive run in the WNBA playoffs, leading them to the Finals. The Dream first swept the Washington Mystics and then did the same against the New York Liberty, concluding the series 3-0.
Isaiah Thomas, former NBA star, recently praised Reese on social media, highlighting her energy and determination as key to the Dream’s success. Despite the Liberty’s strong roster, including Breanna Stewart, the Dream’s collective performance, bolstered by Reese’s contributions, enabled them to dominate the series.
In their final match against the Liberty, Reese scored a team-high 22 points, alongside nine rebounds and three assists. The Atlanta Dream are now set to face the Golden State Valkyries in the championship game after their victory over the Las Vegas Aces.
