Sofía Vergara shares thoughts on ‘self-absorbed men’ following Joe Manganiello’s criticism of her in his memoir.

Sofía Vergara recently addressed “narcissistic men” in an Instagram post after her ex-husband, Joe Manganiello, criticized her in excerpts from his upcoming memoir, Bloodlines. The post, initially shared by her son, Manolo, contrasted the behavior of narcissists with that of “good men,” emphasizing that no matter what you do for a narcissist, it will never be enough and they will portray you as the villain.

The graphic included statements highlighting that narcissists seek superiority and avoid self-reflection, with celebratory emojis accompanying the message. Vergara also shared another post about the ability to laugh at oneself being a sign of high intelligence, further implying her views on the implications of dealing with narcissistic people.

Manganiello’s memoir, set to release on October 13, claims that their marriage became emotionally barren, and he recounts experiences of feeling ridiculed and emotionally neglected, particularly during a severe health crisis. He aims to clarify misconceptions and set the record straight regarding his experiences and their relationship dynamics. In contrast, Vergara has indicated the relationship ended due to differing desires about having children.

Both actors have since moved on, with Manganiello engaged to Caitlin O’Connor and Vergara in a relationship with Douglas Chabbott.
