Orbit Culture has released a revamped version of “The Path I Walk,” featuring renowned cellist Tina Guo. This release is accompanied by a music video directed by Riivata Visuals.
Originally, “The Path I Walk” was the closing track on the Swedish metal band’s latest album, Death Above Life, and it will also be included in the upcoming deluxe edition of the album, set for release on October 9th. This deluxe version will feature additional bonus material.
In a statement, the band expressed their initial hesitation about collaborating with other artists but noted how special it was to work with Guo, whom they had admired since her performance in Stockholm in 2017. They recounted that after suggesting her name, the A&R representative, Mike Gitter, was able to connect them. The band highlighted how Guo’s emotional performance transformed the song, surpassing their expectations, and praised her down-to-earth nature despite her exceptional talent.
Alongside this release, Orbit Culture announced a detailed tour schedule. They will be touring in Europe supporting Amon Amarth and Soilwork, kicking off tomorrow. Following their European leg, they will head to North America for a tour with Trivium, In Flames, and Frozen Soul.
