In July, a lightsaber featuring Luke Skywalker’s severed hand from “The Empire Strikes Back” was auctioned for a record-breaking $3.75 million, marking the highest price for a Star Wars prop. Now, additional iconic props will be available at the Ultimate Star Wars Auction by Heritage Auctions on November 12.
One highlight is the Darth Vader lightsaber used in the pivotal Cloud City duel, expected to sell for at least $1 million. This saber, which also appeared in “Return of the Jedi,” is part of a collection of over two dozen lightsaber props from various Star Wars films and shows. Other notable items include lightsabers wielded by Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker, each anticipated to fetch a minimum of $10,000.
Additional items up for auction include Boba Fett’s EE-3 blaster, estimated to go for over $100,000, a Yoda puppet hand from “The Empire Strikes Back,” Anthony Daniels’ signed screenplay for the original 1977 film, and a TIE Fighter pilot helmet from “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.”
