In a recent interview with Piers Morgan, the eight-time Grammy winner revealed that he hasn’t played drums in 15 years or written music lately, but sometimes inspiration strikes unexpectedly.
Colllins mentioned he’s taken note of the concept to prevent someone else from using it. Despite health issues sidelining his performances since the conclusion of Genesis’s Last Domino? Tour in 2022, he remains vocal about his views on American politics, expressing disdain for Trump and concerns about the state of the nation.
He stated, “When someone like Trump is as nasty as he is, you end up feeling dislike for him,” and remarked that he wouldn’t be shocked if Trump attempted to hold onto power beyond his second term, despite this being unconstitutional. Collins emphasized his ability to discern right from wrong, despite not considering himself a political person.
