Meet Queen: This Week’s Pet of the Week
Location: ZANESVILLE, OH
This week, we celebrate a true royal pup—meet Queen! She’s a delightful 3-year-old Chihuahua who is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, and eagerly awaiting her special place in a forever home.
A Little About Queen:
- Background: Queen was surrendered to the shelter, but not due to any fault of her own. She enjoys the finer things in life, such as car rides and French fries.
- Ideal Home: April Gibson, Executive Director of the Animal Shelter Society, advises that Queen would thrive best in a home with retired or older folks who enjoy a calm lifestyle. She should be the only pet in the household and prefers an environment that is quiet and free of children under 10.
Upcoming Events:
- Music 4 Mutts: Join the fun on Wednesday, October 14th, in the Shelter’s Parking Lot. It’s a bring-your-own-beverage event, with food trucks and a special brew provided by Ray Ballard. All proceeds will support the shelter.
- Wicked Whiskers Sing-a-Long Brunch: On October 24th, enjoy a ladies-only event from 10 AM to 1 PM at A Taste of Ohio Wine, Bourbon, & Beer. Tickets are $30—call the Shelter to reserve your spot!
