Muskego Community Raises Close to $30,000 for Family Affected by House Fire

A Muskego family faced devastation after a house fire on St. Leonards Court claimed their home and pets. Thankfully, the community rallied support, raising nearly $30,000 in two days.

Erin Forsyth and her three children were not home during the incident, losing their beloved pets—a dog and cat. The aftermath shows charred wood, a damaged roof, and signs of destruction at the site.

Despite the tragedy, Forsyth expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support, including from the local high school football team. A fundraiser on Support Now has facilitated donations of clothes, gift cards, and funds.

Tailspin Tavern is stepping in too, promising to donate 20% of sales from five locations on October 18 to help the family. “We’re embedded in the community,” noted manager Joe Zizzo.

While the Forsyths face a challenging recovery, they are bolstered by a supportive Muskego community.
