Veteran Kansas City Chiefs Mascot Offers Insights at Women Connect Event in Minot

KC Wolf Visits Minot: Lessons in Investing in Others

Minot, N.D. (KMOT) – Dan Meers, the man behind the Kansas City Chiefs’ beloved mascot KC Wolf, visited Minot on Tuesday to share stories from his 35-year career. His visit was part of an event organized by Women Connect.

Meers discussed valuable life lessons, emphasizing that life is like a coin—you only spend it once, so choose wisely. He also highlighted the importance of investing in others for personal fulfillment.

Recalling a traumatic experience from over a decade ago, Meers shared how he fell 75 feet from Arrowhead Stadium during a bungee jumping stunt. After a lengthy recovery, he transitioned to a part-time role with the Chiefs to focus on being a grandfather.

Rianne Kuhn, a member of Women Connect, noted the significance of such dynamic speakers in inspiring the community. “You leave with a full cup,” she said, highlighting the organization’s mission to keep participants motivated.

Women Connect offers various events throughout the year aimed at sharing insights, building connections, and fostering growth in the community.
