Metallica Launches Sphere Performance, Kicking Off a Major Entertainment Weekend in Las Vegas

Metallica kicked off their highly anticipated Sphere residency in Las Vegas with a unique twist: two distinct shows over the opening weekend. The “Life Burns Faster” residency, which started on October 1 and runs until March 2027, featured classic hits alongside rare tracks. Notably, the band performed “And Justice for All” live for the first time in 12 years, and “Devil’s Dance” made a return after an 18-year hiatus.

Fans still have opportunities to catch the residency with more dates scheduled. In a surprising moment at Caesars Palace, Josh Groban covered Metallica’s “Enter Sandman” during his performance on October 2, showcasing his theatrical flair.

At Allegiant Stadium, rock legend Alice Cooper electrified the crowd with classic tracks like “I’m Eighteen” and “School’s Out” during the Raiders’ halftime show against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Additionally, paranormal investigator Zak Bagans is making headlines with his recent acquisition of the Underground House, a Cold War-era property in Las Vegas, which he plans to transform into a museum.

Fans can follow the latest updates and behind-the-scenes content from Metallica’s residency through Johnny Kats’ social media accounts.
