La Feria: Celebrating Latinx Visual Culture
Feature Highlight:
On October 3, 2026, La Feria, hosted by The Latinx Project at NYU, showcased the vibrant contributions of 46 entities in media and print. Attendees enjoyed a rich array of zines, academic books, textiles, and artworks, some created live during the event.
Artist Community & Collaboration:
Unlike other fairs, La Feria allows artists to participate without a fee, promoting accessible connections between publishers and creatives. Essye Klempner, from the Robert Blackburn Printmaking Workshop, presented a diverse range of works made by workshop participants, emphasizing the community aspect of printmaking.
