A multi-brand Circle K travel center is set to open this fall at 265 Court St. in Binghamton, New York, developed by The Briad Group based in Livingston, New Jersey. This will be the first of potentially 40 next-generation convenience and travel centers that aim to integrate fuel services with convenience retail and popular quick-service restaurants.
The Binghamton location will feature a 6,800-square-foot facility, including a Circle K convenience store, eight fuel pumps, and dedicated drive-thru lanes for Dunkin’ and Wendy’s, along with offerings from Papa John’s.
A second travel center is planned to open in Watertown in January. The initiative represents a significant expansion into the convenience sector for The Briad Group, with support from Peachtree Group, which has committed $200 million to the project.
Circle K, owned by Alimentation Couche-Tard, ranks as the second-largest convenience store chain in the U.S. with over 7,100 locations.
