RaceTrac allocates $63 million to renovate 98 convenience stores in Florida, adding pizza bars and enhancing coffee offerings.

RaceTrac is investing over $63 million to remodel 98 of its convenience stores across Florida. The remodel aims to enhance the customer experience by introducing features like a full pizza bar for the first time, improved coffee areas, and updated aesthetics throughout the locations. The project, which commenced on Monday, emphasizes transforming these stores into food destinations, catering to customer desires for fresh food, great coffee, and an easy shopping experience.

Key highlights of the remodel include:

– A grab-and-go pizza bar with daily-made pizzas.
– A redesigned coffee area featuring six varieties of RaceTrac’s coffee.
– An expanded Swirl World frozen yogurt bar with unlimited topping options at select locations.
– Enhanced store layouts for better shopping convenience.

Most remodeling work will occur in the Orlando area, with other stores being updated in various regions including Tampa Bay and Miami. While some locations will remain open during renovations, others may have to temporarily close.

This initiative reflects RaceTrac’s focus on modernization and community investment, as nearly 33% of its stores are located in Florida.
