El Paso Couple Hosts “Howl-O-Ween” Donation Drive for Animals

EL PASO, Texas — For one El Paso couple, Halloween represents more than just spooky decorations—it’s a chance to support animals in need within their community. Norman and Gabby Stark are hosting their annual “Howl-O-Ween” donation drive at their home in northeast El Paso.

This tradition began in 2016 at their previous residence and continues at their current home. Over the years, the Starks have amassed over $30,000 worth of Halloween decorations, changing the theme of their display each year.

The couple aims to add festive cheer to the neighborhood while encouraging visitors to bring supplies for local pets. They collect donations year-round and distribute them to shelters and animal rescues in the El Paso area.

Their dedication to animal welfare extends beyond the annual event; they have been fostering animals for approximately 16 years and have helped over 600 animals find adoptive families. They believe fostering is vital, offering temporary homes to animals awaiting forever families.

The “Howl-O-Ween” display and donation drive runs every Friday and Saturday night through October 31, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at 11440 Sandstone View Lane. Visitors are encouraged to bring donations for pets in need.
