Tulsa Comic Con Infuses Downtown with Halloween Vibes and Pop Culture Excitement

Tulsa Comic Con Embraces Halloween Spirit

TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa Comic Con kicked off the Halloween festivities on Saturday with a themed convention at the Gateway Tulsa Event Center, drawing in fans eager to celebrate all things spooky and superhero-related.

The annual event showcased over 50 pop culture vendors, complemented by arcade games, food trucks, prizes, and free giveaways.

Nicholas Goltra, owner and event producer, expressed his passion for the comic book community. “I really started this so we could get the love of comic books out. The community out here is wonderful. We have good comic book vendors. We’re all part of the local community. We just hang out with each other and swap comics, trying to get everybody — all the kids — to have comic books in their hands and spread the joy of comic books,” he stated.

For those who missed out, there’s another opportunity to join in the fun at the Tulsa Nostalgia Con in June, also hosted at the Gateway Tulsa Event Center.
