Gypsy Rose Blanchard encourages supporters to sign petition against online harassment in memory of her late fiancé, Ken Urker.

Gypsy Rose Blanchard is advocating for “Kenan’s Law” following the tragic death of her fiancé, Ken Urker, who died recently at 34. She urged her followers to sign an online petition aimed at improving how social media platforms handle reports of harassment and cyberbullying, asserting that Ken faced significant online scrutiny prior to his passing.

In her Instagram post, Blanchard emphasized that the law would address the need for social media platforms to recognize patterns of abusive behavior rather than dismissing individual complaints. She clarified that her aim is not to silence criticism but to protect the humanity of public figures from harmful online behavior.

Urker passed away on his birthday, reportedly found unresponsive at a home in Louisiana shortly after failing to respond to a birthday message from Blanchard. She later stated that he died from an overdose.

Urker’s family expressed outrage over Blanchard’s public comments, claiming she has not reached out to them and disputing details regarding the circumstances of his death. Blanchard remains committed to using her pain for advocacy, aiming to ensure that those suffering from similar experiences are heard. They had a daughter together, Aurora, born in 2024.
