AAA: Iowans Should Reserve Holiday Travel Soon to Avoid Higher Costs Later | News

Travel experts advise Iowans planning trips for Thanksgiving or year-end holidays to book their travel now. Brynna Knapp from AAA Iowa highlights that delaying bookings often leads to higher prices; nearly half of surveyed travelers who postponed booking ended up paying more. Many respondents cited budget concerns as their reason for hesitation, with 47% expressing financial worries and 36% hoping for lower prices later. Booking early in October for late November or December travel usually results in better flight and hotel options, as well as greater flexibility for changes.
