Residents puzzled as unusual celebrity graffiti reappears featuring even more peculiar messages.

New graffiti mocking celebrities has emerged in West Denton, Newcastle, generating both amusement and controversy. The playful messages, which have included references to various public figures like Wayne Rooney and Sharon Osbourne, have divided opinions among residents.

Local resident Vicky Binns expressed that the graffiti is “innocent and ridiculous fun,” highlighting that it has sparked conversation in the community. Some notable phrases included quirky assertions such as “Wayne Rooney has his tea on a Peppa Pig plate.”

However, Newcastle’s Councillor Peter Lovatt condemned the graffiti as “unacceptable,” citing concerns over public damage and the costs associated with removal. He warned that those responsible could face legal repercussions. The graffiti continues to appear despite some already being removed, with the latest jabs featuring well-known personalities like Kate Garraway and Sarah Millican.
