The Northeast Louisiana Celtic Festival took place at Lazarre Park in West Monroe, organized by the Kiroli Foundation with the support of the City of West Monroe. The festival celebrates Irish, Scottish, and Gaelic culture through live music, a bagpipe band, games, a kids zone, food trucks, and local vendors, featuring people in traditional costumes.

Courtney Hornsby, the chief of staff for West Monroe, emphasized the importance of celebrating diverse cultures and the area’s immigrant heritage. She noted that the festival attracts thousands each year, providing economic benefits and exposure for local artisans and vendors.
