Emirates will start using its Airbus A350 for scheduled flights to the US on November 1, with daily services to Orlando, replacing the Boeing 777. The A350 features new cabin interiors with 32 Business Class, 28 Premium Economy, and 238 Economy Class seats.
The daily flights EK219 and EK220 will connect Dubai and Orlando. The introduction of the A350 enhances Emirates’ Premium Economy offering, providing passengers with more space, better dining options, and improved amenities on long-haul flights.
Premium Economy seats offer 19.5 inches of width, adjustable headrests and footrests, charging points, and 13.3-inch entertainment screens. Additional benefits include seasonal meals on Royal Doulton china, a wider beverage selection, sustainable amenity kits, pillows and blankets, as well as priority boarding and dedicated check-in at Dubai International Airport.
Matthew Jones, Emirates’ VP for the US, expressed excitement about elevating the travel experience for customers on this crucial route, emphasizing superior comfort across all cabin classes, including the growing Premium Economy offerings.
