Gypsy Rose Blanchard is honoring her late ex-fiancé, Ken Urker, who passed away at 34. In her heartfelt Instagram post, she expressed her grief and commitment to advocate for “Kenan’s Law,” aimed at combatting online harassment and cyberbullying, which Urker experienced before his death.
Blanchard emphasized that public figures deserve compassion and understanding, noting that fame doesn’t erase their humanity. She created a petition for Kenan’s Law, highlighting the need for stronger procedures on social media platforms for handling reports of harassment. As of now, the petition has garnered 382 signatures.
Urker, who shared a daughter, Aurora, with Blanchard, was found unresponsive in his home on his birthday. Although the cause of death hasn’t been released pending investigation, Urker had confided in friends about feeling depressed shortly before his passing. Blanchard expressed her determination to use her pain for a greater purpose, ensuring her daughter knows the true love and spirit of her father.
