Ed Sheeran Brings Surprise Opener Isaac Slade to Atlanta Loop Tour Show
On October 3, Ed Sheeran surprised fans at his Atlanta Loop Tour show by featuring Isaac Slade, the former frontman of The Fray, as a special guest performer. This marked the first guest appearance since multiple opening acts dropped out of the tour following controversies regarding Macklemore’s removal.
Macklemore was let go after performing “Hind’s Hall” and making political statements during shows at MetLife Stadium, including shouting “Free Palestine.” Slade addressed the ongoing war in Gaza during his set, encouraging the audience to seek “common ground.”
This news adds to the evolving narrative surrounding the tour, and updates will continue to follow.
