Kuraray is showcasing an innovative illuminated panoramic glass roof at glasstec, designed specifically for the automotive industry. This glass roof features colorful, high-resolution patterns that enhance interior lighting design (Hall 10/H48).
Visitors at the Kuraray booth will see how the SkyViera® film interlayer enables glass roofs to shine in various colors, creating a tailored ambiance for vehicles. The SkyViera® PVB film is printed with custom patterns and laminated between two glass panes. Utilizing optical coupling technology and LEDs, it evenly distributes light through the film, providing a transparent look during the day while glowing in assorted colors at night.
Mahindra is leveraging this technology in their electric SUVs, the BE6 and XEV 9e, featuring the “Infinity Roof.” This allows users to choose from over 16 million color combinations and synchronize lighting effects with music.
