In 2014, Amol Rajan expressed a strong disdain for running, saying, “If there is a place called hell… it’s one where I’m forced to run on a regular basis.” Yet, by 2023, he revealed on Instagram that running had significantly changed his life.
The key to this transformation was a gradual approach—starting slow, running little and often, and building up stamina over time. Amol noted that he began to enjoy running more as he improved, saying, “It’s got easier. I ran further. I ran faster.”
Additionally, investing in a coach, which he initially associated with the wealthy, turned out to be a crucial step. He described this investment as transformative for his health and body. His newfound belief is that health and fitness are the ultimate “cheat codes” to life, promising immediate rewards and long-term benefits.
