Sean Combs placed in isolation amid claims of luxurious prison living

Sean “Diddy” Combs has reportedly been placed in solitary confinement due to allegations of a lavish lifestyle in federal prison. Following a report by NBC News detailing claims from anonymous inmates, Combs was said to have been paying for special services, including massages and access to contraband items like a phone and alcohol.

Currently serving a 50-month sentence at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey for transporting prostitutes across state lines, Combs has encountered issues in the Special Housing Unit (SHU) before, including a previous stint after a prison fight.

Allegations reveal that he has been receiving favorable treatment, such as meals prepared by other inmates and illegal access to a “jailbroken” tablet to watch movies. Reports also highlight instances of him using a contraband phone for social media and viewing explicit content. Inmates have claimed that money from outside sources supports this lifestyle, with one stating, “This is some rich s—. It looks crazy, but again, it’s Diddy.”

Combs’ representatives claimed ignorance regarding the situation and emphasized that he is following prison rules. In response to the media scrutiny, they stated that the continued focus on his prison life reaches a point of absurdity.

The Federal Bureau of Prisons has not confirmed or denied the existence of an investigation but acknowledged that contraband remains a challenge within correctional facilities.
