Ozarks Pet Rescue in West Plains is facing a financial challenge due to rising medical bills, which exceeded $23,000, the highest in their five-year history. This non-profit organization has cared for over 10,000 animals, focusing on those in urgent medical need, such as abandoned or diseased pets. With increasing requests for help and declining donations, the rescue may need to limit its intake in the future. They are planning various fundraising events and are looking for support from the community, especially through recurring monthly donations.
