Wild Thingz, an exotic pet store located at 266 Delaware Ave., Palmerton, is quickly gaining recognition since its opening in April. Owned by siblings Noah and Caleigh Condit, the store offers a diverse range of pets and supplies.
The Condits, originally from Slatington, chose Palmerton for their pet venture, citing their fondness for the town. “We love Palmerton; it’s a great little town,” Caleigh remarked. Their experiences visiting pet stores as children inspired them to create a unique pet shopping experience.
The store proudly emphasizes the well-being of its animals. “We want to share our love and passion for animals,” Noah stated, highlighting a commitment to providing quality care. Wild Thingz offers a variety of exotic birds, small mammals, reptiles, amphibians, and will soon include fish.
Caleigh elaborated on their mission: “We hope that people consider coming to our shop to buy pets and learn about proper care and equipment.” They also cater to specific customer needs by offering special orders and payment plans for specialty animals.
With a team of six employees, Wild Thingz operates from noon to 6 p.m. on Mondays and Tuesdays, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesdays through Fridays, and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends.
