Blue Ridge Humane Society Waives Adoption Fees for October
HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — Throughout October, Blue Ridge Humane Society is waiving adoption fees for all dogs and cats. This initiative, announced in a news release on October 1, is made possible through a partnership with Hunter Subaru and the Subaru Loves Pets initiative, which will cover all adoption fees for dogs adopted from the shelter this month.
In a commitment to reducing barriers to adoption, BRHS is also waiving fees for all cats during October.
This campaign aligns with National Make a Dog’s Day on October 22, a celebration encouraging people to strengthen their bond with their dogs. The initiative encourages adopting pets in need or volunteering at local shelters.
Community members are invited to share their Make A Dog’s Day activities on social media using the hashtag #MakeADogsDay and tagging Blue Ridge Humane Society.
