Lyft Application to Broaden Its Presence in Europe

Lyft is expanding its app’s availability to various cities across Europe, starting with early access in Barcelona and Hamburg. By the end of October, riders in major cities such as London, Rome, Paris, Berlin, Athens, and Warsaw will be able to use the app. Sid Patil, Lyft’s chief rideshare and marketplace officer, emphasized that users can rely on the same app, account, and payment methods as in North America. In the next year, users will have the option to pay either in their home currency or the local currency.

Additionally, users can still utilize the Freenow by Lyft and Gett by Lyft apps in Europe.
