Meet Leo and Lucy: This Week’s Pets of the Week!
Leo and Lucy are a pair of domestic shorthair kittens—one boy and one girl—looking for a forever home together. They are about six weeks old and arrived at Riverside County Animal Services on September 20 without their mother. While staff aren’t certain if they’re siblings, they share a kennel and get along well.
About the Kittens
- Calm and Shy: Both kittens are a bit shy, but their personalities are expected to flourish once they settle into their new environment.
- Self-Sufficient: They’ve moved past the bottle-feeding stage and are now happily eating wet food on their own.

Foster Program Opportunities
Leo and Lucy are also part of the shelter’s foster program, open to anyone 18 or older. Signing up requires just an email address, phone number, and ID. More details can be found on the shelter’s website.
