UbeFest Returns for Filipino American History Month
By Ellen Rodriguez-Swing
CERRITOS, Calif. — Filipino American History Month (FAHM) will be celebrated in flavorful style as UbeFest returns on October 3 and 4, 2026, at the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts parking lot, located at 12700 Center Court Drive.
Presented by UbeFest LLC in partnership with the Filipino American Chamber of Commerce of Cerritos and Gateway Cities (FAC3), this free two-day festival invites families, food lovers, entrepreneurs, artists, performers, and community groups from across Southern California to join in the celebration of Filipino culture.
UbeFest started by highlighting one of the Philippines’ most cherished flavors, ube, and has now evolved into more than just a food festival. This year, mango will share the spotlight following the launch of MangoFest in August 2026, adding another beloved Filipino flavor to the festivities.
Festivalgoers will have the chance to explore Filipino dishes, ube-inspired desserts, and specialties. Attendees can discover local vendors, enjoy live entertainment, partake in cultural performances, and engage in family activities while supporting Filipino-owned businesses.
The festival serves to showcase the creativity and cultural influence of Filipino Americans, welcoming both longtime enthusiasts of Filipino cuisine and new visitors eager to learn more.
Now in its second FAHM edition, UbeFest aims to be a gathering point for the Southern California community, providing a weekend filled with opportunities to eat, discover, celebrate, and connect.
