A woman was arrested in Pleasant Hills, Pa., after stealing a donation jar from PetVet365. She was caught on surveillance video taking the jar, which contained $400 to $500 for the Daisy Fund, a charity that helps local animals. The clinic owner expressed disappointment, stating that stealing from animals is particularly upsetting. Local pet owners shared their outrage and urged the community to look out for one another. The police apprehended the woman after receiving reports of her panhandling. Clinic owner Dr. Ashley Smith-Miller hopes the incident raises awareness for the Daisy Fund. Donations can be made through the Veterinary Care Foundation.
