This service is designed to enhance the travel experience for fans attending Southern Conference championships and athletic events by providing a centralized resource for booking accommodations.
With a free FanPlans membership, fans can support their chosen college while booking hotels, as a portion of the revenue from their bookings will go back to the institution, streamlining the travel process and generating revenue for member schools without requiring them to sign up or agree to terms.
Interim Commissioner Geoff Cabe emphasized the benefits for fans and institutions alike, stating that the new platform connects fan loyalty with direct financial support for schools. Additionally, Stayker, the hotel booking platform powering FanPlans, will manage hotel arrangements for upcoming events like the Ingles SoCon Basketball Championships.
