Trump to Announce $54 Billion Investment in Alaska’s LNG Pipeline
President Donald Trump is scheduled to announce a $54 billion investment in the proposed LNG pipeline project in Alaska at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, according to a White House official.
White House Spokeswoman Taylor Rogers stated that this announcement will highlight major energy infrastructure investments, fulfilling Trump’s commitment to “unleash American energy” and tap into Alaska’s resource potential.
This investment is part of a broader $200 billion pledged under the “US/Korea Trade and Investment Initiative,” announced last November.
The announcement will take place in the Oval Office and will include Alaska Governor Mike Dunleavy, Senator Dan Sullivan, and Representative Nick Begich, along with several members of Trump’s cabinet.
