James Blunt on Celebrity Traitors: A Surprising Past with Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore
Published: 1 October 2026
James Blunt recently shared an unexpected story from his past involving Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore. The singer, known for his hit “You’re Beautiful,” revealed he was “thrown out” of a game similar to the popular party game Werewolf, which inspired the BBC show The Celebrity Traitors.
Blunt will be appearing on the new series alongside celebrities like Jerry Hall, Bella Ramsay, and Richard E Grant. He expressed his enjoyment of such games, recounting how he was invited to play by Kutcher and Moore. He laughed off his exit, hinting that the reason was unrelated to the game itself.
In discussing his life experiences, from his music career to military service, Blunt acknowledged that appearing on the show would showcase another side of him. While he mentioned a history as an X Factor judge, he emphasized that his public persona aligns closely with who he truly is.
Regarding the upcoming missions on the show, he noted their silliness amid a darker overarching theme, describing the antics of adults interacting in playful challenges as a highlight.
Tune into The Celebrity Traitors on BBC One and iPlayer tonight at 8 PM.
