Naomi Bulochnikov-Paul, the head of communications for Disney Entertainment Television, has announced her departure from the company to pursue a new job opportunity. In a memo to staff, she expressed gratitude for the experiences and relationships formed during her time at Disney, reflecting on her professional growth since joining in 2017.
Bulochnikov-Paul has held various roles at Disney, including VP of communications for Freeform and senior VP of publicity for ABC, before becoming executive VP of communications for Disney General Entertainment in 2023. Her exit is not connected to recent layoffs affecting Disney’s tech and HR departments, and her team has been praised for their dedication and talent.
Prior to her tenure at Disney, Bulochnikov-Paul worked at Netflix and Sony Pictures TV. She received the Medal of Hope honor in June for her contributions to the Race to Erase MS gala. OConnell, the chairman of Disney Entertainment Television, highlighted Bulochnikov-Paul’s leadership and expertise in her farewell note.
