New “Dune” Attraction in Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES — A groundbreaking interactive “Dune” experience is set to open this November, promising an immersive journey into the captivating world of Frank Herbert’s iconic saga. Visitors can expect to encounter stunning vehicles from the film, along with intriguing moments such as meeting the mysterious Bene Gesserit.
Experience Highlights
One of the key features of the exhibit is the “test of humanity,” where guests can confront a simulated ordeal by placing their hands in a box that induces an intense sensation. Rob Shalhoub, a lead at Fever, emphasizes the participatory and shocking nature of this experience, designed to deepen the connection with the film’s characters.
Scheduled to coincide with Denis Villeneuve’s “Dune: Part Three,” which releases on December 18, “Dune: The Experience” will be located in Los Angeles’ Arts District and is expected to run at least through the end of December. The exact start and end dates are still to be announced.

Tickets will become available on October 7 via the official Dune: The Experience website and will be priced between $30 to $45.
Room Features
The experience will include about a dozen unique rooms, each offering approximately five minutes of exploration. Guests can uncover hidden clues in ancient carvings or take photos at Paul Atreides’ throne, alongside themed food and cocktails designed for the duration of their visit.
The exhibit promises to be rich in sensory exploration, featuring spaces that focus on touch, sound, and visuals. One interactive projection room will vividly recreate the desert landscape of Arrakis, giving attendees a real sense of scale and danger, particularly from the infamous sandworms.
Amado Trevino, Director of Interactive Media and Experiences at Legendary Entertainment, highlights the exhibit’s multifaceted appeal, noting that there will be interactive elements that engage sight, sound, and touch—allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in the world of “Dune.”
This experience aims to reward curiosity and offers a pathway into the mystical universe of the series, providing a truly unforgettable adventure for fans of the saga.
