Sam Cosmi and Nick Cross will not make the trip to the UK, sidelined for the Commanders game.

The Washington Commanders made several roster changes on Tuesday as they prepare to face the Indianapolis Colts in London this Sunday. Linebacker Leo Chenal has been placed on injured reserve after undergoing successful neck surgery. Additionally, the team adjusted its practice squad and reinstated running back Austin Ekeler to the active roster.

In light of their upcoming international game, the Commanders are dealing with injured players, including Jayden Daniels, Frankie Luvu, and Chig Okonkwo, who will travel to London with the team. However, guard Sam Cosmi and safety Nick Cross have been ruled out for the trip due to a concussion and an illness/internal injury, respectively.

Cosmi suffered his injuries from a hit during the Cowboys game, and Cross, who was hospitalized post-game, has not had a clear update on his condition. Their absence will impact the team’s lineup, likely leading to Lucas Patrick playing center and Nick Allegretti taking over at right guard. The Commanders are scheduled to practice in London on Wednesday afternoon.
