Michele Singer Reiner’s sister, Martine Singer, discussed the profound impact of the tragic deaths of Michele and her husband, Rob Reiner, who were fatally stabbed in their Los Angeles home last December. Speaking to “Extra,” Martine shared her feelings of loss, stating, “Our lives are changed forever,” and emphasized that while healing is possible, the scars remain.

She provided updates on how the couple’s children, Jake and Romy, are coping, noting that each family member is healing in their own way. Martine described Michele and Rob’s relationship as special, highlighting their incredible bond and shared commitment to supporting causes like her own work in child and family services.

Rob and Michele had three children together, including Nick, who has been indicted on two counts of murder related to their deaths and has pleaded not guilty. In statements released by Jake and Romy, they expressed the immense pain of losing their parents, who were also their best friends.

Authorities confirmed that the cause of death was multiple sharp force injuries. Nick Reiner faces life imprisonment without the possibility of parole after the district attorney’s office decided against pursuing the death penalty.
