Peachtree Entertainment has been named co-owner and exclusive operator of The Rail, a 2,200-capacity live music venue currently in development in Lexington, Kentucky. The venue is slated to open in early 2027, with its first shows to be announced later this year.

- Event Formats: Designed for concerts, club nights, corporate functions, and private rentals.
- Amenities: Six bars, two outdoor decks, VIP areas, and a membership program. Backstage features include three dressing rooms and an artist lounge.
Location and Environment
The Rail will be located within The Commons, a 43-acre entertainment district about a mile from downtown Lexington. The area, a former tobacco processing campus, combines restored warehouses and new buildings, housing restaurants, shops, recreational spaces, and short-term lodging. Over 30 businesses already operate in the district.
Strategic Importance
Dustin Labbe, Senior Vice President of Booking at Peachtree Entertainment, emphasized Lexington’s prime location among major touring markets, including Nashville, Louisville, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Columbus, Knoxville, and St. Louis. This positioning is expected to attract more national artists to Central Kentucky.
Community Impact
The venue aims to extend visitor engagement in The Commons, allowing guests to enjoy dining and hospitality before and after performances. This addition is anticipated to boost local tourism and provide a new gathering space for the community.
Future Plans
New renderings have been unveiled, but no opening act or show calendar has been released yet. The first bookings are expected later in 2026, which will clarify the types of events and artists set to perform at The Rail.
