Overnight Roadwork in Bellingham: Expect Delays
BELLINGHAM, WA – Bellingham Public Works crews will be working overnight on Lincoln Street starting Monday, September 28. This could impact travel, especially near the I-5 Samish Way ramps, where recent daytime work caused significant delays.
Work Schedule:
- Location: Lincoln Street, between Elwood Avenue and E Maple Street
- Hours: 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. (Monday through Friday, until October 2)
- Closure: Northbound I-5 on-ramp from Lincoln Street will be temporarily closed during these overnight hours.
Weekend Lane Closure:
Additionally, there will be a lane closure on I-5 this weekend:
- Right Lane Closure: Northbound I-5 between Lakeway and Iowa Street
