A&W Custom Furniture Expands in Okolona
OKOLONA, Miss. (WTVA) – A Chickasaw County furniture business, A&W Custom Furniture, is set to expand its operations significantly. Established in 2023, the company is investing over $2 million to purchase its current leased facility in Okolona and add a fourth production line.
The expansion will not only enhance the facility but also acquire new equipment aimed at increasing production capacity. Currently employing a little over 70 staff members across three production lines, the new line is expected to create 20 additional job opportunities.
A&W specializes in upholstered furniture, with a focus on sofas and sectionals. The company’s leadership expressed their gratitude for the support received from the community and is optimistic about the future of the business in Okolona.
