U2’s upcoming album ‘Carnaval De Luz,’ set for release in November, will include a collaboration with Dolly Parton on one of the tracks.

U2 is set to release their first full-length album of new material in nine years, titled “Carnaval De Luz,” on November 13. The 12-track album will feature a collaboration with Dolly Parton, specifically on the song “Torn,” described as Parton’s final vocal performance. The album reflects a mix of styles, with The Edge noting it’s a “messy, provocative, sacred collection of songs,” while Bono promises “loud guitars, deep bass, some ecstatic rhythms.”

The lead singles, including “Street of Dreams” and the recently released “Silencio,” point to a fresh sound. Produced by Jacknife Lee, who has worked with U2 since their 2004 album, “Carnaval De Luz” also celebrates the band’s 50th anniversary. The album cover shows the band members walking along a beach, reminiscent of the Beatles’ iconic “Abbey Road” cover. U2 has remained active by releasing two EPs this year, showcasing their continuous creativity.
